Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Pres 11.10.16We recently had the honour of spending a few hours visiting the factory of one of our clients ‘Prestat Chocolates’

Roald Dahl, author of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, made Prestat truffles central to his racy novel My Uncle Oswald. In this novel, a scheming temptress seduces numerous geniuses and royalty of the 20th century with a love-potion inserted into Prestat truffles.

The company received royal warrants as purveyors of chocolates to Queen Elizabeth II in 1975 and to Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in 1999.

Nominated as one of the world’s top three chocolate shops by The Economist in 2003 Prestat’s current flagship store is at 14 Princes Arcade, Piccadilly, and in March 2009 Prestat opened within the Chocolate Hall of Harrods. Its current range of packaging is the work of designer and artist Kitty Arden, who in 2000 collaborated with Lulu Guinness, the handbag designer, to create a limited edition handbag in the design of the Prestat shop.

2pm have recently created the identity and website for Multiple Minds, who specialise in creating events that give parents confidence and motivation to return to work, change jobs or start / grow a business.

Through short courses, events and talks Multiple Minds will give parents tools and techniques to enable them to make a step change with confidence. Multiple Minds creates links with people, bringing them together to inspire new work opportunities that better fit family life.

The logo and brand assets have deliberately been crafted to reflect the personalities of Paula and Amanda the talent behind the business.

Insight into Investor Relations

MOB N12pm Design have recently re-designed the quarterly investor journal for Mobeus Equity Partners.

The re-vamped design has ditched the traditional A4 4-page format for a more compact 8 page A5 magazine. The look and feel of the new document is deliberately more conversational and magazine in style than the previous more corporate brochure approach .

The new format is due to be rolled out across its sister VCT newsletter.

Brand Identity for Investor Relation start up

FAr blue IR2pm have created a brand identity for Far Blue IR, a new Investor Relations start up company. The initial scope covers: logo design, a stationery suite and a set of social media graphics, with more to follow.

Far Blue IR was founded to help fund managers and entrepreneurs with:

Positioning: How to stand out in a positive way .
Communication: how to tell their story in a way that investors will find engaging and persuasive .
Investor Relations: how to turn investors into advocates and attract more capital from established and new relationships.

Along side the two founding partners, they have a range of very clever craftspeople who compliment the team, bringing superb specialist skills in the areas of music, sound, film, and so on.

In a nut shell they basically make beautiful worlds.

2pm deliver social media marketing results for Thomas Mercer







Thomas Mercer Chronometers (TMC) engaged marketing agency 2pm to work with them to develop a social media marketing plan that would help to grow the business to its next stage of development.

Their overarching goals from this process are to:

  • Trigger discussions with fans
  • Create brand awareness
  • Improve SEO ranking

In the longer term, TMC stated goals were:

  • Grow active engagement of people for each social media post
  • Grow social media followers (qualitative and quantitative)

Today the company manufactures fine chronometers that grace the interiors of the world’s most exclusive yachts and homes, individual timepieces where sophisticated design and quintessentially British elegance combine with flawless craftsmanship and mechanical excellence.

In 6 months followers on twitter have risen from 31 to 549 a rise of 1670%

In 6 months followers on Instagram have risen from 265 to 721 a rise of 172%

As part of the process we also did a visual audit of the TMC brand on twitter and Istagram with recommendations for improvements. All of which have be embraced to great success, view here.

We have created a logo and branded website of an idyllic Cornish holiday cottage on the Lizard Peninsula. The responsive website contains multiple images, with detailed information about the cottage, all content managed, and a fully automated booking form.

The logo has been crafted to evoke memories of childhood English seaside holidays.
