2pm deliver social media marketing results for Thomas Mercer







Thomas Mercer Chronometers (TMC) engaged marketing agency 2pm to work with them to develop a social media marketing plan that would help to grow the business to its next stage of development.

Their overarching goals from this process are to:

  • Trigger discussions with fans
  • Create brand awareness
  • Improve SEO ranking

In the longer term, TMC stated goals were:

  • Grow active engagement of people for each social media post
  • Grow social media followers (qualitative and quantitative)

Established London 1858, Thomas Mercer is a name forever synonymous with the marine chronometer, the largest manufacturer in history 1858.

Today the company manufactures fine chronometers that grace the interiors of the world’s most exclusive yachts and homes, individual timepieces where sophisticated design and quintessentially British elegance combine with flawless craftsmanship and mechanical excellence.

In 6 months followers on twitter have risen from 31 to 549 a rise of 1670%

In 6 months followers on Instagram have risen from 265 to 721 a rise of 172%

As part of the process we also did a visual audit of the TMC brand on twitter and Istagram with recommendations for improvements. All of which have be embraced to great success, view here.
